After construction commenced in May 2018 the extensive work to expand the thin film coating capacity was finalized on schedule this week. While the building neared completion, the systems engineering for existing and new equipment already started. Various production machines, media supplies and treatment units were installed on the newly created parts of the building and put to operation. The reengineered and upgraded layout of our production area safeguards a higher quality level within our cleanroom facility. It also has allowed for the installation of two new coating machines, which will be put to operations over the course of the next weeks. Furthermore, we have set the groundwork for another substantial capacity increase in our laser department. All remaining activities are on schedule with the whole project to be finished by November this year.
