Taking into account the waste hierarchy of the German Circular Economy Act (KrWG), we try to prevent the generation of waste in the first step. Cullet, if not coated, is returned to the melting process.

For unavoidable waste, separation by type is an important element for recycling the residual materials. The separated waste can then either be used as a secondary raw material for further recycling or disposed of according to type. At Auer Lighting, 36 different residual material fractions are collected separately. As a result, the amount of thermally recycled commercial waste has been reduced by 72%  within the long-term measurement period.

Auer Lighting's sense of responsibility is also reflected in the selection of environmentally friendly packaging and the quest for recyclable materials that can be returned after use.  Auer Lighting uses only FSC^® certified packaging for its packaging.
